Mailing Service Providers

MarketDirect StoreFront supports integration with AccuZIP mailing service provider for direct mail campaigns.

Note: AccuZIP is supported only for use with products created with the licensable option EFI VDP, Single and Batch record VDP.  For more information on EFI VDP, see Create an EFI VDP Product.

AccuZIP’s Direct Mail software solutions can provide you with tools to:

Use the following address verification services for an existing mailing list:

CASS Certification: CASS stands for Coding Accuracy Support System. AccuZIP is nationally CASS Certified™ for ZIP+4®, CRRT, 5-Digit, LACSLink®, SuiteLink®, eLOT® DPV®, and RDI. This process will ensure the accuracy so that each mail-piece receives the maximum postal discount.

NCOALink® Certification: NCOALink stands for National Change of Address. NCOALink will ensure that each CASS Certified name and address record is processed against the NCOALink database, which is updated weekly to ensure that each mail piece arrives at the recipient’s new address instead of the old address. With NCOALink and CASS, the presorted mailing list can claim Full-Service discounts to save even more on postage.

Comprehensive Duplicate Detection: Industry leading duplicate detection with integrated A.K.A. name matching ensures that every costly duplicate record is found and purged. This ensures that each mailing results in the highest ROI possible, reducing wasted postage, material, and labor.

PAVE GOLD Certification: PAVE stands for Presort Accuracy, Validation, and Evaluation. Presorting the CASS Certified mailing list will accurately prepare your mail for the lowest postage rates. Supports all types of First-Class Mail® and Standard Mail®, including card, letter, and flat size.

Create EDDM mailing address lists of all residences and/or businesses in one or more designated ZIP Code™ area so you can easily saturate the target area for your direct mail campaign.

The MDSF Direct Mail Automated Workflow: The MarketDirect StoreFront Direct Mail Automation Workf ow powered by AccuZIP fully automates order processing of direct mail products from order entry through mail processing and check out. Streamline the mailing process by allowing your customers to upload their mailing lists, complete CASS and NCOA certifications, presort the cleansed list, and receive the final postage amount directly in the order checkout process. After checkout, 100% of the required documentation, both Electronic (Mail.dat) and Hard Copy and the Print Ready PDF document, are ready to print. The MDSF Direct Mail Automated Workflow will save hours of preparation time, reduce labor costs, and increase both productivity and revenue.

Getting Started with AccuZIP Direct Mail for EFI VDP

1.        Purchase a license for batch record EFI VDP.

Note: EFI VDP is available as a licensed option. For more information on obtaining a license for EFI VDP, contact your EFI sales representative, call (800) 875-7117), or fill in the Web form at http://www.efi.com/about-efi/contact-us/how-to-buy/.

2.        Establish an account with AccuZIP.

Note: For more information on AccuZIP or to establish an account, visit www.accuzip.com/dsf.

Let AccuZIP know that you are an EFI MarketDirect StoreFront user who has purchased a license for EFI VDP and want to establish an AccuZIP account for use with your direct mail products.

Note: All new activations must complete a PAF that AccuZIP will send to them. The PAF must be received and approved before AccuZIP will issue an Activation Key. The USPS requires that the PAF be filled out completely as a prerequisite to processing a name and address list through its Licensed NCOALink service. AccuZIP will automatically notify MarketDirect StoreFront customers 30-60 days prior to the date on which PAF needs to be renewed each year (and then daily for the final 30 days until the PAF is renewed). If a customer does not renew the PAF, the account will be disabled.

After the customer chooses a Purchase Plan (i.e., Transaction Model or Subscription Model), AccuZIP will provide an API_KEY and activation information that you will need to configure your AccuZIP Direct Mail solution account in MarketDirect StoreFront (per step 3 below). AccuZIP will also have you complete PAFs.

Note: For complete details about the available AccuZIP purchase plans, including pricing and the services they provide, request the AccuZIP document AccuZIP Transaction and Subscription Based Pricing.

3.        Configure AccuZIP in MarketDirect StoreFront (in large part using the information AccuZIP will provide to you).

Note: See Configure the Mailing Service Callback URL.

4.        Set up direct mail services for each Print Shop on Manage Print Shop administration page in MarketDirect StoreFront:
